I love calendars. You can find the most surprising things on them. For instance, I was unaware that World Religions Day even existed and I certainly didn’t know about their website, www.worldreligionday.org. This site is a great resource for teaching children (and ourselves) about other faiths.
But what I really liked was the page they devoted to the Golden Rule – Do unto others as you would have them do unto you – and what other faiths have a very similar philosophy.
Although World Religion Day was founded in 1950 by the Baha’i Faith, this website is not currently affiliated with the Baha’i. In my opinion, as long as the information presented is accurate and intent on helping people understand each other, its origins are insignificant.
